About Harvest Cart
Harvest Cart is a traveling grocery truck created specifically to combat the effects of food deserts on low-income families in Milwaukee. As a pop-up farmers market and grocery delivery service combined, Harvest Cart makes fresh food more accessible to families without easy access to a grocery store. Studies have shown that access to fresh food correlates with the health of individuals in an area. By offering fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy, Harvest Cart aims to eliminate the effects of food deserts in Milwaukee.
The Harvest Cart trucks visits several neighborhoods every week in order to spread the harvest as much as possible. Individuals can purchase food directly from the truck, or they can pick up orders made online from the truck. Harvest cart partners with local grocery stores and local growers to provide the freshest food at a reasonable price.

Mission
Harvest Cart brings empathy and care to low-income families with limited food access by providing fresh produce, meat, and dairy to food desert areas regardless of location or income.

Vision
Our vision is to eliminate the effects of food deserts on low-income families.
